Programs

Our programs include Math, Science, English, Reading, Computer Literacy, Robotics, 3-D Printing, and SAT/ACT preparation. All programs are available online, and we offer in-person courses as needed. We introduce new programs frequently to meet the evolving needs of our students.

We provide regular Professional Development (PD) and regular meetings at StudentNest to ensure our instructors are delivering the most up-to-date course material. StudentNest conducts weekly quality assurance meetings to ensure that students are progressing and that our services are being delivered with fidelity.

We provide a monthly summary to parents and school districts to ensure that all parties with a vested interest in the growth of the student are well aware of the progress. For parents and school districts that require a more frequent update, we are organized to provide that support. We are also able to provide updates to parents via phone at the parent’s request. This is all in addition to our in-person progress report review session with parents.

Juvenile Correction Services

StudentNest has partnered with juvenile justice programs in a variety of counties across the United States to provide high quality instruction and mentorship services to some of our communities’ students with the most extreme and challenging needs. Our management team includes veteran officers that effectively served in juvenile correction facilities for many years. Coupling their expertise with our instructional techniques has allowed us to help thousands of youth and young adults to thrive in their educational goals as they navigate the justice system. Our partner agencies continue to grow as we deliver a level of service with experience that other providers cannot match.

High School
Integrations

For student learning plans we conduct a pre-test, and based on the results a SLP is created. The SLP is provided to our content and technology team to upload the necessary educational content for our educators. Upon completion of the program, a post-assessment is conducted to support a continuous feedback loop process to refine our learning plans.

SLP development is acknowledged as an important step in tutoring. This task will be completed by our site coordinators who will also be responsible for grading and entering scores into the database. Our office staff creates State Standards aligned student achievement goals based on students’ needs determined by the pre-test and generates SLPs. We recognize parent engagement as a key component of a child’s academic progress because it helps in developing a trusting and respectful relationships with families.

Adult Education

Our partnership with the Texas Workforce Commission is just one of several programs where we help adult learners meet their educational goals. In our last term we helped 95% of our adult learners to earn their GED, with over 80% doing so on their first attempt! Allow us to work with your agency to help your adult learners achieve and thrive.
